Large Print - Any Book to Large Print
InfoCon provides a custom ordering service for Enlarged Books also referred to as Large Print Books for the visually impaired. InfoCon will enlarge almost any textbook, literature book, children's book, test, workbook, songbook, tax forms, tax manuals, magazines, and even other materials. Some media has already been processed and are listed in the
Book Catalog section.
Production
InfoCon's average turnaround is 3 weeks after copyright is approved. Turnaround for orders over 25 titles will vary due to the time needed to obtain approval to reprint from copyright holder, the size of the order, and the current production levels of InfoCon.
Font Size
InfoCon uses the standard e-scale to verify the final font size in its large print books. InfoCon can print the main text font in the final large print book at any size upon request. To help you determine what font size you will need, InfoCon has included a PDF e-scale that can be viewed and printed.
Copyright
Some state laws have mandated blanket exemptions from copyrights for reprinting materials for the visually impaired. Other organizations or individuals have already obtained the permission to reprint a book for the visually impaired. When neither of these apply, InfoCon will attempt to obtain permission from the copyright holder to reprint, in enlarged format, material that is copyrighted.
Return and Cancellation Policy
If Customer pays for InfoCon's services with a check and that check is returned, Customer will be charged a $20 fee.
